Episode 28: “A Dragon Caged”

Story By Steve Wang, Nathan Long and Michael Wang

Written by Jeff Walker

Directed by John Fasano

Summary: Trent, Brandon and Fish successfully hack into the government server. But Trent explains that the network alarms have been set off. Maya tells them that she's gonna go get Kit, and tells Brandon and Fish to go home before the government agents get there. Trent gives Maya the location to where Kit is being held.

Michelle Walsh interrogates Kit. Michelle asks about Xaviax and Ventara, but Kit continues to refuse answering any of their questions. So she plays an auto of him mentioning Ventara and Xaviax in the bookstore. Kit explains that Ventara is a parallel world that lies behind the mirrors, and Xaviax is an alien who wants to take over Earth. Michelle asks if he works for him. Kit explains he was trying to fight him before they came along and took him.

Trent and Lacey are worried about Maya going off on her own. They explain to Len and Kase that Maya went after Kit and they have to save her. Trent gives them the address to the secret government base where Kit is being held.

Maya enters the government building. A computer security system says, authorized entry only, and says for the employee to place hand on the scanner. Maya explains that she's not an employee, she's looking for Michelle Walsh. The computer responds that there is no one there by that name, and says to place hand on the scanner for identity verification and explains that if she's not authorized for entry, security will remove her from the facility. Maya explains that she's looking for Paranormal Threat Assessment Field Station Number 128. The computer then says to please take a seat, and says that a representative will be with her shortly.

Back in the lair, Xaviax is searching for Kit Taylor, but hasn't been able to find him anywhere cause Kit's been out of sight of a mirror for so long.

Michelle places Kit's Advent Deck on the table and asks him how it works. Kit asks for a glass of water. Michelle has one of the agents bring Taylor some water, and says to bring it in a paper cup. Len and Kase infiltrate the building. Kit spills the water on the floor, making it look like an accident, tips the table over, grabs his Advent Deck and escapes through the reflection of the water. Michelle gives the order to sound the alarm.

Two agents come out of an elevator. Maya enters the elevator, and the agents call security. The alarms go off, Wing Knight and Siren think that Kit may have escaped.

Kit enters Ventara and is immediately faced with another monster and transforms. Wing Knight and Siren encounter agents. Michelle orders the agents to take them, but Wing Knight and Siren fight them off. Xaviax finally locates Dragon Knight. Dragon Knight uses Final Vent and destroys the Monster. Vic and JTC confront Kit. Kit realizes that the other guy is Xaviax. Vic(Xaviax) explains that up until this point, he has been sparing him, told all the other Riders not to harm him, and explains that now that he has made his big decision to not betray his friends and Earth for his father, he doesn't see any point in sparing him anymore. So they transform and fight.

Maya finds Wing Knight and Siren. They try escaping through a mirror, but an agent blasts the mirror with some substance (possibly tar, maybe?). Wing Knight fights off the agents and takes off with their blaster. Maya, Siren and Wing Knight escape through a mirror and find Dragon Knight being attacked by Wrath and Strike. Wing Knight gives the blaster to Maya and sends her through to Earth. Dragon Knight starts limping. Wrath gives Strike permission to finish him. Strike inserts his Final Vent Card, but is suddenly attacked by Wing Knight, and Wrath is attacked by Siren. Dragon Knight is unable to stand on his leg. Len and Kase escape back to Earth with Kit. Maya blasts the mirrors, blocking Wrath and Strike from following them.

At the bookstore, Kase is using her ability to heal Kit's leg. Maya explains that they can't stay there long, the No Men will come looking for them. Len explains they will go as soon as Kase finishes healing Kit's leg, and explains that it's not Ventaran technology, they learn that from the Advent Master. Maya asks who the Advent Master is, but Len pauses, and Lacey asks how did all of this start, and asks Kase where she got her boots.
