Episode 16: “The Hero of Gramercy Heights”
Story By Steve Wang, Nathan Long and Michael Wang
Written by Nathan Long
Directed by Steve Wang
Summary: Xaviax is searching for reinforcements. He tells JTC to separate Sting from the others.
Kit informs Len of JTC. He explains that JTC is Maya's friend, JTC gave her information about his father and has information on the Riders. Len wants to meet this JTC.
Len and Kit enter Grace's Bookstore and confront Trent about JTC. They ask Trent if he knows where JTC lives. Trent tells them that he managed to get JTC's license plate number, then goes to the computer and gives them the address.
Maya finds Chris in Gramercy Park. Chris tells Maya that he is too weak. Maya tells him that he's the hero of Gramercy Heights, but Chris tells her that he's not a hero, it was all a setup from the beginning.
Flashback: Special Agent Simons (Xaviax) had brought Chris to his lair. Chris looks over the Advent Cards given to him. In the Deck he finds a Contract Card. Agent Simons stops him right there and explains that the Contract Card bonds you with your Advent Beast, the power he will need to fight the alien creatures, but once you merge with it, it's for life, and there's no going back. Simons explains, you hold out the Contract Card and the Beast will come to you. Chris accepts and transforms. And for about a month, Kamen Rider Sting takes out one alien creature (Xaviax's monsters) right after another, and saves many people. Agent Simons congratulates Chris on saving countless lives. Chris tells him that he wishes he could tell his father, it would make him very proud.
JTC watches Maya and Chris as they continue talking.
Flashback: Agent Simons tells Chris that he's ready to face off with the alien masterminds and explains that Wing Knight and his henchmen are ten times more powerful than the creatures, and more cunning, they will say or do anything to trick him. Chris tells him that they won't fool him. Agent Simons says, "Good luck, son!"
Chris tells Maya that he's not a real Kamen Rider, and is definitely not a hero. But Maya tells him that he IS a real hero, the people he saved from Xaviax's monsters were real and he was a hero to them, and he is a hero to her. Kamen Rider Strike shows. Chris tells Maya to get out of there, then transforms. Strike and Sting head into battle.
Len and Kit arrive at the location of the home address, but it's a warehouse. Len and Kit go in to check it out. A robot awakens and attacks them with lasers. The two transform and battle the robot, but it gets away.
