Episode 7: “Friend or Foe”
Story By Steve Wang, Nathan Long and Michael Wang
Written by Colin Gillis
Directed by Michael Wang
Summary: Maya finds Kit with Drew and informs Kit that she found his father.
Len wonders how Kit can be so naive. Len fights two Gazelle monsters without tranforming into Wing Knight. The monsters flee.
Maya takes Kit and Drew to his dad in the hospital. But Kit's dad doesn't respond. Drew explains that Xaviax did this to him, and that he recognizes the symptoms, the Minions take them, and Xaviax drains them. Drew explains that Xaviax uses their life energy to power his machines. Maya asks if there is a cure. Drew tells them that Xaviax has the cure, and that they have to defeat him and Wing Knight to get it. They hear someone (a Doctor) coming, Drew escapes through a reflection and returns to the General's lair. Detective Grimes walks in and explains to Kit that his father is in stable condition and is in no immediate danger, though they have no idea what happened to him, all they know is they found him and the others wandering the streets. Detective Grimes then explains that he got Kit special permission to visit his father, but they can't tell anyone about this.
Three Gazelle monsters prepare to attack. Kit explains to Maya that Drew said Wing Knight is working for Xaviax, but Kit isn't sure it's true.
Dragon Knight and Wing Knight destroy the three Gazelle monsters.
Maya tells Trent and Lacey they can't tell anyone about Kit's dad or the other sleepwalkers in the hospital, or Kit won't be able to see his father again. Trent and Lacey agree not to say anything, and Lacey doesn't believe a word of it anyway.
Kit finds Len and tells him he found his father in the hospital. Len explains that there is no cure anymore, there was a man who could have helped, but he's gone. Kit tells Len that he's lying. Kit wants to believe that there is a cure.
Len finds Drew and chases after him into Ventara. Another monster attacks Wing Knight. Torque fires, and the wild boar monster escapes. Torque explains that with Xaviax's power, he will be a king. And as last man on Earth, he will get his pick of the ladies. It's gonna be sweet. Wing Knight explains to Torque that Xaviax is gonna Vent him like all the others, but Torque explains that he has it all worked out. Torque uses "Attack Vent" (with 6,000 Attack Points (Magnugiga)) to summon his Advent Beast, then uses "Final Vent" (with 7,000 Attack Points). Torque inserts his gun into Magnugiga's back, Magnugiga charges weapons, Torque pulls the trigger and Magnugiga fires all of it's cannons and missiles from it's body.
Kit isn't sure what to do and who he should believe. Kit told Maya about his dad visiting him in his dreams, and that everything that's happened in those dreams has come true. Kit returns home, and Drew shows up. Kit tells Drew that he has made his decision, if he helps him with his dad, he will help him fight Wing Knight and Xaviax. Drew promises that they will find the cure. Xaviax is watching.
