Episode 4: “A Rider's Challenge”
Story By Steve Wang, Nathan Long and Michael Wang
Written by Scott Phillips
Directed by Steve Wang
Summary: Len explains to Kit about the Kamen Riders. The Kamen Riders are the Protectors of Ventara, the world behind the mirrors, Len's home world. The Advent Decks were stolen from the Ventara Kamen Riders and they were given to people on Earth. He then explains there are 12 Kamen Rider, and the other Riders are after Kit because they think Kit is working with him. A portal opens, Kit follows Len to battle.
In Ventara, Wing Knight and Dragon Knight intercept a monster. Wing Knight uses "Nasty Vent" (with 1,000 Attack Points (Sonic Break)), a sonic attack from Black Wing (the bat). Dragon Knight uses "Attack Vent" (with 5,000 Attack Points (Dragreder)), the red Dragon is summoned and fires a fireball. Wing Knight and Dragon Knight both use "Final Vent" and destroy the monster. Wing Knight explains that the Kamen Riders will be much tougher and tells him to go home and study the cards. The Dragon absorbs the sphere from the destroyed monster.
At Grace's Books, Maya receives an e-mail from her editor at WayAboveTopSecret. com. He says that she didn't check her facts rigorously enough on her last report and tells her he wants her to work with a "more experienced reporter", Michelle Walsh, a senior journalist at WayAboveTopSecret. com whose attitude smells ("Michelle the smell"). He wants Maya to go out that afternoon and assist her. She knows Michelle is going to make her fetch her coffee, but Maya tells Lacey she refuses to fetch coffee for anybody.
Maya fetches coffee for Michelle Walsh, but Michelle complains that she didn't sweeten it.
Xaviax steps out of his lab (base) from a portal and right into his office as Walter Connors. Richie calls Connors because he didn't know there were going to be two Riders gaining up on him at once and isn't sure what to do. Connors tells him to just find a way to separate them. Richie's motorcycle gets towed.
Maya helps Michelle Walsh interview the man that Len and Kit saved from the Spider monster. The man tells them about this guy that transformed into a bat suit. Michelle thinks the man is lying, but Maya knows he's telling the truth and sees Len transform as the man is telling them.
Len returns from destroying another monster, then finally tells Kit his name. Len spots Richie, as Richie is looking around. Len informs Kit that he's Kamen Rider Incisor. Kit asks Len how he can tell without the armor on. Len explains he can sense it. Richie is encountered by Kit and Len. Len tells Kit to stand down then challenges Richie to a fight, one-on-one. Len and Richie transform and head into Ventara. Kit observes the fight from Earth. Wing Knight and Incisor both use "Final Vent" against each other (Incisor's with 4,000 Attack Points). Volcancer is summoned. Incisor jumps then springs off Volcancer's claws and does a spinning attack. Wing Knight is hurt, and Incisor seems to be winning. But then Volcancer starts disintegrating, then so does Incisor. Seeing this, Kit is shocked. Wing Knight now has Incisor's Advent Deck. Len explains to Kit that he's been Vented, trapped in the Advent Void, the dimension between their worlds. It's what happens when a Kamen Rider has been defeated, and they can never return. A person on a red motorcycle rides off.
Back home, Kit puts his Advent Deck away in a drawer and is done with being a Kamen Rider. But he senses another portal, and his Advent Deck begins glowing. He can't resist fighting again, he takes out his Advent Deck and leaves. The guy on the red motorcycle watches Dragon Knight take off, then holds out his Advent Deck...
